I think this is very well written!!
There are so many great words written in this story! If you have to write a story for school and this story would work, you should totally bring it in!!!!!!!!!!
I also think that was a great ending to chapter 1. It leaves the reader hanging which will only want to make them read more! And I also lost a VERY good friend almost a year ago so you should make it very emotional like it was when my friend past away. We all miss her!
